Present in 1,000 Elementary Schools Across Indonesia, DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas Supports Children's Potential Through Competitions and Educational Entertainment Events

Furthermore, the DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas program is also directly supported by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) of the Republic of Indonesia as it aligns with Kemendikdasmen's vision of creating "Quality Education for All." It is important to note that all activities presented in the DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas Program are designed in accordance with the applicable education curriculum, ensuring they remain relevant and support the learning process for children.

Through the concept of learning while playing, children are invited to participate in fun activities full of challenges and creativity. In addition, children are also encouraged to practice various important skills, ranging from teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, to general knowledge.

Visit 1,000 Elementary Schools in 23 Cities in Indonesia

This program is certainly not only aimed at students, but also invites parents and educators to work together to create a fun and loving learning environment. And this year, more than 165,000 students from 1,000 elementary schools in 23 cities in Indonesia participated in the DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas educational entertainment competitions and events. This certainly serves as tangible evidence of Nestlé DANCOW's commitment to continue supporting the future of Indonesian children to be better and full of potential.

In addition to involving a massive number of participants, the DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas Program also presents a variety of fun and inspiring activities to support children's development. These exciting activities include cheerleading competitions among elementary school students, as well as talk show sessions with speakers from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Director of PT Nestlé Indonesia Sufintri Rahayu, DANCOW Category Marketing Manager Johanlie Aliffin, and teachers from elementary schools.

Not only that, there is also a Quiz Competition, art performances from representatives of elementary school students, and various other fun activities such as food bazaars and children's play areas in a pleasant outdoor space. All these activities are certainly designed to create a fun learning experience while strengthening children's potential from an early age.

Consisting of 3 Selection Stages

It is known that the DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas Program takes place in three main stages designed to screen and select the best participants from across Indonesia. The first stage, namely the selection at the school level, has been ongoing since January 13 to March 31, 2025. In this initial stage, the selection process took place in 1,000 elementary schools spread across 23 cities in Indonesia. Now, the first stage has officially ended, and the DANCOW Indonesia Cerdas Program has entered the second selection stage, which is the filtering at the district or city level.

Now, this second selection stage takes place from April 1 to May 31, 2025, involving 48 schools that achieved the highest average scores in the online test (microsite) in each region. In addition, during this stage, a series of roadshows will also be held in six major cities in Indonesia.

Starting from Jakarta on Sunday (04/13) at GOR Cipulir, then Bandung on Sunday (04/20) at GOR Arcamanik, followed by Yogyakarta (04/27) at the UPN Auditorium, Surabaya (05/04) at UNESA Basketball GOR, and Manado (05/10) at GOR R.W. Monginsidi, and ending in Medan (18/5) at the GOR Mini Futsal Disporasu Pancing. Later, 3 champions will be selected, where 2 of them will be chosen as representatives of the district or city.

Finally, this program will enter the final round from June 1 to August 31, 2025. A total of 12 best schools from the previous selection will be chosen to compete directly at Studio EMTEK, Jakarta. The excitement of this final round will also be broadcasted across various media, starting from the Indosiar television station, social media, to various other digital platforms that are scheduled to air starting in July 2025 so that more parents, teachers, and the wider community can witness the inspirational journey of the participants in honing their skills and potential.
