Raffi Ahmad Trusts His Father's Legacy Car Repair to This Workshop, Which is a Favorite Among Indonesian Celebrities

Therefore, it turns out that many well-known Indonesian celebrities entrust their beloved cars or even their collections to a man named Hendy Wirawan Suprapto.

Even Raffi Ahmad, a famous Indonesian actor and television presenter, once entrusted his late father's vintage car to Hendy's workshop. When met at his workshop in Petukangan, Ciledug, Tangerang, on Thursday afternoon (25/5), Hendy explained how he handled Raffi Ahmad's vintage car.

"We specialize in interiors, some are custom and some are just tidied up. The last time we worked on Raffi Ahmad's car, we did the interior for a contest. It was his father's BMW e30. We completely rebuilt the car's interior," said Hendy.

Hendy explained that Raffi Ahmad wanted the interior of his father's legacy car to be restored to its original model. However, overall, he and his team completely restored Raffi Ahmad's car.

"So we made it original because the car is over 30 years old and it was in bad condition, and Raffi wants to keep it, so we completely rebuilt it," he said.

Furthermore, when asked further, Hendy did not hesitate to mention how much money Raffi Ahmad spent to rebuild his late father's car. Hendy said that Raffi Ahmad spent approximately IDR 150 million, whereas the car's market value was only around IDR 30 million if sold.

"We replaced all the parts including the engine because Raffi wanted a total rebuild. Many of the parts were expensive because it's an old car and the spare parts are rare. We replaced everything," he explained.

"The total cost was around IDR 150 million, while the car's value was only IDR 30 million. Maybe the car has some history," he added.
