The annual culinary festival that brings the excitement of a night market is here with a fresh concept and atmosphere to bring positive energy and joy to the visitors. Carrying the theme "The Asian Food Journey," Pasar Senggol presents various contemporary cuisines from Asian countries including Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China, and India, taking place from September 22nd to October 29th, 2023.

Located in the newest area, this year Pasar Senggol has moved from the previous area in the west parking lot of The Downtown Walk to the south parking area with a larger size of 12,300m², making the exploration of enjoying the excitement at Pasar Senggol even more enjoyable. Visitors can enjoy the Pasar Senggol culinary festival, which is open every Monday-Thursday (16.00 - 22.00 WIB), Friday (16.00 - 23.00 WIB), Saturday and National Holidays (11.00 - 23.00 WIB), and Sunday (11.00 - 22.00 WIB). For the next 38 days, Pasar Senggol presents various menu of 9 Asian countries' cuisines, Night Market Games, Artist Performances, Balloon Festival, Asian Traditional Dance Performances, Live Acoustic, School Performances, and DJ Performances.

1. Culinary and Night Market Adventure at Pasar Senggol 2023

Entering the gate of Pasar Senggol, visitors are greeted with various decorations representing the unique characteristics of Asian countries. To further experience the sensation of traveling to Asian countries, decorations representing each country are also presented, such as the iconic Torii gate from Japan, the typical floating market from Thailand, the traditional Korean food tent, the distinctive Indonesian fabric motifs, and many more.

Visitors can hunt for thousands of food menus from 114 tenants divided into 3 areas, namely 99 booths from 9 countries, 4 food trucks, and 11 pushcart tenants. Various trendy menus are available this year, such as Indonesian culinary specialties Lontong Medan Ka Nors, Kue Putu Bambu Medan, Kari Bihun Medan, Chi Chong Fan, and many more. Additionally, visitors can also taste the culinary specialties from Asian countries, such as Singaporean Mee Laksa, Sukibray & Grill from Japan, Malaysian Kopi Butter & Teh Tarik 2 Marga, Thai Tha Nom Senbei, Vietnamese Pho, Korean Street Food, Indian Nasi Rempah, Chinese Dimsum Pao, and many more.

The most awaited exciting part of Pasar Senggol is its night market games, including Ombak Banyu, Kincir-Kincir, Kora-Kora, Carousel, Ontang Anting, Waterball, Kereta Jumbo, Tagada with prices ranging from Rp25,000 - Rp50,000. In addition, visitors can also spend their time in the carnival games area, such as Canoe River, Bumper Car, Merry Go Round, Kiddy Wheel, Magic Bike, Midway, and Giraffe Flying with prices for each game starting from Rp30,000. Not to mention the exciting giant inflatable balloon game with ticket prices starting from Rp35,000. Visitors can use QRIS scan or other digital wallets for all transactions at Pasar Senggol.

In addition to enjoying a variety of Asian food, visitors can also participate in the Shopper Program. For every visitor who makes a purchase worth Rp200,000 (not applicable in multiples) in the Pasar Senggol area, they have the opportunity to participate in the Lucky Dip with various prizes such as tote bags, pillows, mini portable fans, and SMB shopping vouchers worth Rp50,000.

For the first time appearing in Bekasi, the Wonosobo Hot Air Balloon Festival also enlivens the Pasar Senggol event this year. This hot air balloon festival is a tradition that is usually passed down from generation to generation for the people of Wonosobo when approaching Eid. Visitors can witness and enjoy the beauty of the hot air balloon festival while taking selfies on October 15 & 22, 2023 in the Pasar Senggol area. 

The excitement of Pasar Senggol is even more felt with the presence of performances by famous musicians including Smash (September 29, 19.00 WIB), IDGITAF (October 6, 19.00 WIB), Geisha (October 13, 19.00 WIB), DJ Katty Butterfly (October 20, 19.00 WIB) who will entertain visitors on the main stage of Pasar Senggol.

Not only that, visitors will also be entertained by a series of Live Acoustic Performances every Monday-Friday & Sunday at 19.00 WIB and DJ Performances every Saturday at 19.00 WIB. Don't miss out, there are also School Performances from schools in Bekasi and surrounding areas held every day. There is also an Asian Traditional Dance performance that presents traditional dances from several countries in Asia such as Indonesia, Thailand, India, Japan, and Korea every Saturday at 18.30 WIB. The Layar Tancap area will also be enlivened by the 100% Human Film Festival on September 30, October 1, 7, and 8, at 19.00 WIB, which will screen Asian films with a family theme.
