Slamet Modus Asks for a Massage Before Assaulting Three Neighbor's Children

Kapanlagi.com - WH alias Slamet Hariyadi (33) is locked up in the detention cell of Malang City Police Station after being caught molesting three underage children. The perpetrator used the excuse of asking for a massage before his three neighbor's children became victims of his heinous act.

Malang City Police Chief, Commissioner Pol Leonardus Simarmata said that the molestation took place at the perpetrator's house. The suspect took advantage of the empty house, even though he lived with his wife and child on a daily basis.

The victims were called to help massage or 'step on' the perpetrator's body, before the victims were undressed and molested by the perpetrator. The perpetrator's actions towards the victims occurred separately between February.

"The modus operandi is that the victims were called one by one by the suspect. The victims were asked to massage, the suspect lowered the victim's pants, before committing inappropriate acts," said Leonardus Simarmata, Monday (13/4).

The perpetrator is a resident of Jatimulyo, Lowokwaru District, who works as a sand transporter. Meanwhile, the three victims are still children who are each attending Kindergarten (6 years old), 1st grade of Elementary School (7 years old), and 2nd grade of Elementary School (8 years old).

The perpetrator persuaded the victims by giving them a sum of money, as well as asking them not to tell anyone else. However, one of the victims told their parents before reporting the case to the Malang Kota Police.

2. Trauma

For recovery, the victims are accompanied by psychologists from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Malang Kota Police. The victims are expected to recover from their psychological condition and trauma as soon as possible.

"It's a pity, these children still have a long future ahead of them," he added.

The suspect himself is charged with Article 82 of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection. The suspect faces a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment and a fine of Rp5 billion.
