Vidio Original Series 'BAD GUYS' Successfully Wins Award at the 30th Asian Television Awards

Kapanlagi.com - Vidio has once again made a proud achievement at the 30th Asian Television Awards. During the second day of the event held on Saturday (29/11/2025) at Studio 6 Emtek City, the Vidio Original Series BAD GUYS successfully brought home the award for Best Southeast Asian Drama Series.

The trophy was received by Vidio's COO, Hermawan Sutanto. "We are honored that our original series, BAD GUYS, won Best Southeast Asian, Best Drama," he said in his victory speech, as seen in the live broadcast aired by Vidio and Indosiar.

"And this is even more special because yesterday, Vidio won Best Live Sport Coverage through Byon Combat Showbiz Vol 5," added Hermawan.

He added, "This shows our commitment to continue producing and broadcasting the best entertainment and live sports events, not only for Indonesia but also for the region (Asia). And for millions of Vidio fans, this award is for you."

As previously reported, Hermawan Sutanto also received a trophy and delivered a victory speech at the first day of the 30th Asian Television Awards, for Vidio's win in the Best Live Sports Coverage category.

"Thank you to the Asian Television Awards for this recognition, and thank you to the entire Vidio team for their hard work, because this is recognition that we are broadcasting the number one combat sport-showbiz in Asia," said Vidio's COO, Hermawan Sutanto yesterday.

2. First Adaptation

The BAD GUYS series itself is Vidio's first adaptation of a Korean IP produced by BASE Entertainment and CJ ENM Hong Kong. Directed by Ferry Pei Irawan and William Chandra, it features an action series.

This series showcases a star-studded cast, including Oka Antara, Dwi Sasono, Afrian Arisandy, Randy Pangalila, Maudy Effrosina, and Omara Esteghlal.

The Indonesian version of BAD GUYS follows the story of Jaka (Oka Antara), a Police Chief Commissioner who is investigating a serial murder case related to corruption.

3. Tell the Story of 3 Former Criminals

However, his search turned into a tragedy when his daughter became a victim. Limited by bureaucracy, Jaka took extreme measures by recruiting three former criminals he had previously arrested to help him solve this case.

The three former criminals are Anton (Dwi Sasono), a tough fighter and former right-hand man of a drug cartel. Haidar (Randy Pangalila), who has always been a skilled con artist adept at manipulating situations. Lastly, there’s Elias (Omara Esteghlal), a genius hacker with the ability to breach security systems.

Together with AKP Sekar (Maudy Effrosina), a highly dedicated female police officer, they form an unconventional team to uphold justice.
