Gardens by The Bay: A Must-Visit Spot in Singapore That Always Has Surprises, What’s New This Time?
For city explorers planning a trip to Singapore, Gardens by The Bay is one spot you can't miss because this year there is the Sunflower Surprise!
Kapanlagi.com - Imagine you are on Orchard Road, the busiest shopping center in Singapore, surrounded by luxury stores, modern neon lights, and a never-ending flow of people. Suddenly, the atmosphere changes. It’s as if there is a time portal that takes you back to April 1912, right on the deck of the most magnificent cruise ship ever built: the RMS Titanic.
Imagine the booming sound of the ship's engines, the distinctive aroma of expensive wooden decks, and the dim light of crystal lamps beautifully reflecting in the first-class passenger cabin. You can feel the vibrations of the excited passengers boarding, hear the cheerful conversations in the elegant dining room, and even hold your breath as the cold night in the North Atlantic turns into a great tragedy. All these sensations are no longer just imagined through the movie screen, but are vividly present before your eyes.
This experience can be found at Titanic: An Immersive Voyage - Through the Eyes of the Passengers, a spectacular immersive exhibition that will be held starting August 6, 2025, at Fever Exhibition Hall, Singapore. Through advanced technology, 3D projections, and full-scale room reconstructions, this exhibition invites visitors to truly step into the world of the Titanic. You are no longer just a spectator of history, but a part of the most famous journey on the ocean.
Not only showcasing the beauty and luxury of the ship, this exhibition also invites you to experience the emotional side of the Titanic story. Starting from the excitement of passengers while sailing, the tension when the ship hits an iceberg, to the chilling silence as the Titanic slowly sank to the ocean floor. This is a rare opportunity to revive one of the most dramatic pieces of history from the 20th century, without having to wear a diving suit or dive thousands of meters into the Atlantic.

After successful runs in world cities such as Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Copenhagen with over 700 thousand visitors, Titanic: An Immersive Voyage - Through the Eyes of the Passengers has finally docked in Asia. Singapore is fortunate to be the inaugural host for this region, specifically at Fever Exhibition Hall, 25 Scotts Road, just a few steps from the bustling Orchard Road.
Occupying an area of 1,300 square meters, this exhibition is not just a display of historical artifacts, but a thrilling journey that invites visitors directly into the world of the Titanic. Imagine walking through full-scale room reconstructions, exploring the luxurious first-class passenger cabins, and seeing small details like furniture, letters, and photos that capture life aboard the legendary ship.
In addition, visitors can also find more than 90 original artifacts related to the Titanic, ranging from photos of the captain, ship blueprints, to personal belongings of passengers. All combined with advanced technology such as 3D projections, video animations, and interactive installations, making the Titanic story not only something to be watched but also truly felt.
What makes the Singapore edition special is the addition of exclusive content in the form of a giant wall panel containing local newspaper coverage from 1912 about the Titanic tragedy, complete with old photos of Singapore from that time. So, besides commemorating world maritime history, this exhibition also adds a local touch that brings the experience closer to visitors.
"This exhibition brings the story of the Titanic in a personal and emotional way, honoring the legacy of the passengers while also presenting their stories that may not have been told before," said Guo Teyi, Director of Leisure Events at the Singapore Tourism Board.

If usually the story of the Titanic can only be seen through James Cameron's film or documentaries on television, this time you can experience the most iconic moments of the legendary ship yourself. This exhibition features immersive technology that makes visitors feel as if they are truly on the deck of the Titanic, witnessing the tense moments when the ship struck an iceberg in the middle of the Atlantic at midnight.
As soon as you enter one of the rooms, you will be taken to sit inside a lifeboat, with floor-to-ceiling projections dramatically displaying the sinking scenes. The distress call sounds, panicked screams, and the gradually dimming lights send chills down your spine. It feels like you are truly trapped in that historic night of April 14, 1912.
For those who purchase VIP tickets, the experience is further enhanced with access to a Virtual Reality (VR) tour. Through the VR headset, you can dive more than 4 kilometers to the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean to see the Titanic wreck that now rests in silence. This tour feels very emotional; on one hand, you will be amazed by the remaining grandeur, but on the other hand, you will feel a deep sadness seeing the remnants of the ship that witnessed the tragedy.
This VR section becomes one of the highlights of the exhibition because it successfully provides an experience that is impossible for most people to achieve, which is seeing the Titanic with your own eyes without having to be a professional diver.

One of the things that makes the Singapore edition feel different from other cities is the presence of a giant newspaper panel displaying local news from 1912 about the sinking of the Titanic. Imagine, you can read directly how the people of Singapore at that time first heard the news of this majestic ship's sinking, complete with the style of old-time newspaper writing.
It doesn't stop there; the exhibition also showcases old photographs of Singapore's landscape in the early 20th century. From the still quiet streets to the classic architecture that may now be gone, all of this provides a unique context of how the global tragedy of the Titanic resonated even to Southeast Asia.
The presence of this panel makes the experience more personal for both local visitors and tourists in Singapore. This exclusive content is indeed specially prepared so that visitors can see a 'mirror of history' not only from the side of the Titanic but also from how the city of Singapore became part of that grand story.
For those of you who love history, the giant newspaper panel along with old photographs of Singapore is definitely a must-stop spot for a longer visit. It feels like walking between two worlds, between the glitter of the Titanic and the old Singapore that also recorded its history.
When else can you 'board' the Titanic without having to go to the bottom of the Atlantic? Titanic: An Immersive Voyage - Through the Eyes of the Passengers will be available starting August 6, 2025, at Fever Exhibition Hall, 25 Scotts Road, Singapore. From original artifacts, immersive projections, to VR tours of the wreck, everything awaits your exploration. Don't wait until the tickets run out; book now and experience the unforgettable historical journey yourself.
