Aimee O'Rourke, a nurse from England, who was part of the medical team dealing with the coronavirus, has passed away. The 39-year-old woman, who is also a homemaker, had three children.

Her daily routine involved working as a nurse at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother (QEQM) Hospital in Margate, Kent, England. Her job of caring for patients in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic led to her contracting the virus and she was declared dead on April 2, 2020, in the critical care unit at QEQM.

O'Rourke had been part of the acute medical unit as a nurse since 2017. Her deep sorrow was also felt by everyone who worked with O'Rourke, including her daughter. As a result of her mother's struggle, her daughter referred to O'Rourke as an angel and vowed to wear the NHS crown forever. The daughter expressed this on her Facebook account.

2. Nurse in New Jersey Sacrifices Her Time for Coronavirus-infected Patients

American nurse Arlene Van Dyk is willing to sacrifice her own safety to care for patients at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Her dedication to her work has led Van Dyk to care for critically ill patients who are no longer responsive and use medical equipment.

She also expressed that she continues to fulfill her duties as a nurse to care for patients and sees them all as humans, not just coronavirus patients.

3. RSCM Nurse Fights Until the End of Life

An Indonesian nurse working at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta passed away on March 12, 2020, after testing positive for the coronavirus. Nurse Nunik, who was 37 years old, received treatment before her passing.

Her dedication as a nurse for coronavirus patients prevented her from being able to see her children and husband. According to her husband, Nunik was someone who truly loved her profession as a nurse.

4. Midwife in England Dies from Corona Infection

It was reported that a midwife from England died on April 2, 2020. Lynsay Coventry died after testing positive for corona at the Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust.

Lynsay died at the age of 54. Previously, she had been a member of the delivery team at Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT). She had dedicated herself as a midwife for 10 years. Therefore, deep sorrow is felt by the delivery team and colleagues throughout the organization.

5. Handsome English Nurse Dies from Exhaustion

A young and handsome nurse named John Alagos died on Friday (3/4/2020). The 24-year-old man took his last breath due to exhaustion after handling corona patients. In addition to exhaustion, Alagos is suspected to have been infected with the corona virus after working nonstop for 12 hours.
