On Wednesday (07/05/2025), Luna Maya officially married her sweetheart, Maxime Bouttier. Their marriage ceremony was held in Bali, wearing Yogyakarta traditional attire.
Luna also chose Paes Ageng Jogja makeup for the ceremony. However, she opted not to wear overly heavy traditional makeup.
Luna Maya preferred makeup that highlights her facial features rather than bold makeup. As a result, Luna's face looked so flawless even without being too striking.
With the help of Andy Chun as her makeup artist on her special day, Luna Maya chose modified Paes Ageng Jogja makeup. This means that the makeup is not strictly based on the usual paes-paes ageng.
Her eyebrows are not shaped like deer antlers or stags, like the usual Makeup Paes Ageng Jogja. The shape of her eyebrows remains soft like her natural eyebrows.
Nevertheless, Luna's eye area still looks sharp because of the seamless liner that makes her eyes appear deeper.
The makeup on the forehead or paes is what characterizes the bridal makeup with Yogyakarta customs. The paes worn by Luna during the wedding ceremony was styled by Mamie Hairdo.
Luna paired her traditional makeup with a long white veil made of tulle that adds a modern accent to her traditional look.
Luna Maya did not wear gold prada that followed the shape of her traditional makeup. Nevertheless, her makeup still looked glamorous with the curly hairpiece on her bun.
