10 Photos of Isa Zega Officially Reported for Alleged Religious Blasphemy After Performing Umrah in Women's Clothing

“Yesterday a man with the initials HK came to report a case of alleged religious blasphemy. The reported person is SI alias IZ,” said AKP Nurma Dewi at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (21/11/2024). 

Hanny Kristanto, who filed the report, brought a number of pieces of evidence to support his claim. One of the pieces of evidence submitted to the investigators is content that is alleged to be the basis of the violation.

“As for the evidence, a piece of content has been submitted to the investigators,” said AKP Nurma Dewi.

The police are currently investigating the report. It is planned that a summons letter will soon be sent to Isa Zega to provide clarification regarding the allegations directed at him.

“We will send a letter for the clarification summons later. We will update further developments,” continued AKP Nurma Dewi.

Hanny Kristanto, the reporter in this case, feels that Isa Zega's actions have hurt the feelings of Muslims. He considers Isa's act of wearing women's clothing while performing the umrah pilgrimage not only a violation of religious norms but also social ethics.

“As a Muslim, I feel offended by his actions,” said Hanny Kristanto in his statement.

The report was filed with allegations of violations of Article 45A and/or Article 156A Juncto 28 (2) of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE).

Meanwhile, this case has attracted public attention and sparked debates on social media. Many parties question whether Isa Zega's actions can be categorized as a legal violation or merely a matter of religious and cultural interpretation.

Isa Zega himself has not yet provided an official response regarding the report. The public is still waiting for clarification or a statement from the celebrity who is often involved in this controversy.
