Jamie Aditya's real name is Jamie Adityawarman Graham. He is an Indonesian blooded artist who has long settled in Kangaroo country, Australia, with his family. Jamie Aditya's name started to become popular in the 1990s when he became an MTV VJ.

Born in Canberra, Australia in 1970, Jamie Aditya has Indonesian blood, especially Sundanese from his mother who is the granddaughter of a Sundanese writer and poet.

In 2001, Jamie Aditya decided to quit as a VJ for MTV Asia and MTV Indonesia because he had to move to Australia. At that time, he had to accompany his sick mother. Nevertheless, Jamie remained involved in several film projects in Indonesia.

However, when the Covid-19 pandemic started to spread, Jamie settled in Australia. He then became a construction worker to fill his free time during the lockdown in Melbourne.

At that time, there was a regulation that prohibited traveling more than 3 KM. Although he received money from the government, he also considered his growing teenage son.

“I have two teenage children, boys. They see their dad sitting on the sofa playing the guitar in his underwear every morning. So I have to set a good example for my children,” said Jamie Aditya as quoted from YouTube Vindes.

Although it was just to fill his spare time, Jamie revealed that his income as a construction worker in Australia was quite large. He worked as a laborer there for 2.5 years.

"We get paid, maybe here it's about Rp600,000 per hour, if overtime it could be twice that," said Jamie, mentioning his salary when working as a construction worker in Australia.

Furthermore, Jamie revealed that he could earn tens of millions in a month. "Could be Rp17 million to Rp20 million. But my friend can get Rp30 million per week," Jamie concluded.
