"My condition is still like this, my legs are still not healthy, still not strong enough to stand, so it's been 2.5 months now, at first I could still walk to the bathroom, I could still crawl to the wall, now I can't do that anymore, now I don't dare to stand if there is no one around, so it's just my legs that are still not healthy," said Fahmi Bo.

"At first, I was diabetic, my sugar level was as high as 480. When I went to the doctor for the first time, brought by Miss Nikita Mirzani, I also had issues with my spine and my legs were starting to hurt. They said I had bone calcification, due to the effects of dry diabetes, which usually eats away at the bones. Besides that, I was also obese, overweight, so my body and leg bones were not balanced to support me, which affected my legs, causing them to be brittle. It’s difficult to stand, I can't do it for long, just a matter of seconds if I don't hold on," he continued.

Living alone, Fahmi Bo admitted that he has been separated from his ex-wife for 5 years. Fahmi has two children from his marriage with his ex-wife, one of whom is married and has given him a grandchild. Meanwhile, the other child lives with Fahmi's ex-wife.

"Since my separation from my ex-wife, I have been living alone for 5 years. My one child is married and has a child, while the other is with their mother. It's okay for me; I just go through it all, I let it go. Living alone in a less healthy condition has led some people to question how Fahmi meets his needs. It turns out that the 52-year-old man receives help from his friends who feel pity for him. 

"As I said, maybe Allah is really taking care of me. My friend, whom I haven't seen for years, suddenly came to see me in this condition. He is an ojol (online motorcycle taxi driver) too, so while waiting for orders, he stands by here. For almost a month now, it's a bit safer during the day until the evening if I need to go to the bathroom, I have a friend to guide me. But at night, before, it was during the day and morning with the coffee shop owner. I hope he gets a lot of rewards for helping me," he said. 

To sustain his life, Fahmi got a TikTok account from a friend. From there, he started doing TikTok live and received gifts.

"Alhamdulillah, Allah has given me a way again, I was given a TikTok account by a friend. At first, I underestimated it, what's TikTok, I don't like social media, they said this can go live, I was contacted for a week or two, why haven't I seen a Live, I said I haven't opened it yet, he said to hurry up and play, told me to go live. From there, Alhamdulillah, when I appeared on TikTok, many people gave gifts, at first I didn't know what gifts were, and I even got hundreds of thousands, I was happy, oh God, it turns out there are results, I was taught how to take it," he said.

Fahmi mentioned that the only option for recovery, especially in his legs and joints, is surgery. For the surgery, Fahmi is still weighing his options while waiting for funds. In the meantime, he is undergoing alternative treatment.

"Yes, if the leg doesn’t last long, well, for this joint there is an alternative operation, a joint replacement, but it’s quite scary, I’m also afraid, the costs are confusing and all that, that’s what the doctor said. Well, basically just try therapy, just therapy. Take vitamins, take calcium. Yes (if there are donors), maybe just check first, afraid something might happen after the operation, if there’s a chance to heal, why not try as long as I can walk," he concluded.
