Kapanlagi.com - The drug case involving Nia Ramadhani was once again held at the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday (16/12). This time, the hearing was scheduled for the examination of the defendant.

It is known that Nia Ramadhani's driver, NZ alias Zen Vivanto, was the first person to be examined by the chief judge, Muhammad Damis. In that question, Zen was asked about the monthly salary he received while working for the Bakrie family.

"Rp 9 million. Rp 8 to 9 million," answered Zen Vivanto.

Zen Vivanto admitted that he never used his salary to buy drugs. He only started using methamphetamine when Nia Ramadhani asked him to buy the illegal substance and gave him the money.

In addition, Zen Vivanto himself stated that he has been working as a driver for the Bakrie family for 20 years. Because of his dedication, he was willing to be asked to find the methamphetamine desired by Nia Ramadhani.

2. Initially Just Wanted to Try

Then in April 2021, Zen Vivanto managed to get methamphetamine from someone named Rio, he bought it in the Kebon Kacang area, Central Jakarta. Zen Vivanto also tried the illegal substance together with Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie because they wanted to experience what it feels like to use methamphetamine.

"Just wanted to try," he said.

During the trial, Zen admitted that he only fulfilled Nia's request. In front of the judge, he stated that Nia did indeed ask to buy methamphetamine.

Zen also explained that the methamphetamine was bought from someone with the initial R whom he had just met. This illicit substance from R was consumed by himself, Nia Ramadhani, and Ardi Bakrie.

5. Nia Ramadhani's Arrest Process

It is known that Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie were arrested for drug abuse in the Pondok Pinang area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, in July 2021. In addition to Nia and Ardi, the police also arrested their personal driver, Zen Vivanto. The police confiscated 0.78 grams of methamphetamine along with a bong (methamphetamine inhalation device).
