In 2015, he was again apprehended by the police while smoking marijuana at his home. The evidence found included marijuana, heroin, and methamphetamine smoking devices.  Three years later, Fariz was arrested again at his residence with evidence consisting of methamphetamine and tranquilizers. Now, he must once again face legal consequences for the drug cases that ensnare him.

For his actions, Fariz is charged under Article 114 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The potential sentence he faces ranges from five to twenty years in prison.
