Paula Verhoeven expresses her feelings in an Instagram post after receiving the decision that custody of her two children was granted to Baim Wong, her ex-husband. She shares a touching message and reveals the reasons for not filing an appeal against the court's decision.

After officially divorcing Baim Wong and being declared the loser, Paula Verhoeven must now accept the reality that custody of her two children has fallen into Baim's hands.

In a post on Instagram, Paula explained how much she loves Kiano and Kenzo and that she has given her best efforts and struggles as a mother.

However, she must be able to accept the appeal decision that was made on June 18, 2025. "I am graciously accepting it with an open heart and believing that this is all part of God's best plan," she stated in the post description (6/25/2025).

Paula also chose not to file a cassation because for her, what is more important is to be a wise parent for the children who have been entrusted to her by God.

"Mama believes, God knows what is best for all of us. Even though Mama's heart wants to keep hugging and accompanying you every day,today Mama is learning to surrender," Paula continued.

"You are the most beautiful gift in Mama's life.Not a single day goes by that Mama does not go through without the love and prayers that Mama sends just for you," said Paula in her post.

Paula also emphasized that her love and prayers as a mother will never be interrupted, regardless of distance, time, or circumstances, including when she does not have custody of her two children.Â
