Rayen Pono provides further explanation regarding his reasons for continuing to report Ahmad Dhani to the Criminal Investigation Agency of the National Police, despite having had personal communication between the two. According to Rayen, it is important to clarify so that the public does not misunderstand the actual context that occurred.
"So, the chat is actually evidence that the narrative about Rayen's scandal exists. So, regarding the chat, it's actually clear because Mas Dhani has also apologized, 'I'm sorry, what's important is that you come,'" said Rayen Pono at the Criminal Investigation Agency on Wednesday (24/5/2025).
Rayen mentioned that Ahmad Dhani's apology at that time was not delivered with genuine sincerity. He assessed that the main intention of the apology was more about ensuring his presence at the debate event, rather than truly apologizing for the statement made.
"Even though the sincerity in the apology was not evident, because what was important was just for me to come, so it wasn't sincere," he said.
Nevertheless, as a person who upholds a mature attitude, Rayen chose to forgive and still attend the event. He emphasized that his decision was based on good intentions and an open attitude to resolve issues directly.
"But no matter what, that's already clear, because I am also a gentleman, I said okay, I have also forgiven and okay, I will come," he said.
"But the most important substance is when that joke, which belittles, is then repeated in the debate, where the debate is open to the public, witnessed by all audiences, live like that," explained Rayen.
