Bio One became a padel coach at a coaching session held at GOR Mandala, Malang, East Java, on Thursday (24/4/2025) afternoon. The actor from the film Srimulat is known to be a hobbyist in several sports, ranging from cycling, golf, to the latest, padel.

Recently, padel has become very popular, and several celebrities like Verrell Bramasta and Al Ghazali have started playing it. Bio One provides training from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM WIB. The training starts by giving basic knowledge about padel.

Participants in the coaching sessions listen attentively to the instructions from Bio One. Not only do they provide training, but Bio One also guides the participants to start practicing.

For your information, the size of a padel court is one-third of a tennis court, the scoring is the same as in a normal tennis match, and the balls used are similar but with lower pressure.

Bio One admitted that his interest in padel began when he participated in a tournament organized by Luna Maya. At that moment, Bio One emerged as the champion.

Furthermore, Bio One mentioned that he is quite happy with padel, which is becoming popular among the public. Bio One also shared his thoughts on the future of padel, which he said could replace other sports.

"Maybe padel will reach its peak by the end of this year, 2025. (Padel) won't replace the popularity of other sports like running and tennis because each has its own fans," said Bio One.

The 27-year-old man responded to accusations of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) from netizens regarding the current hype phenomenon of padel.

"Don't worry about it, it's your money. I'm actually happy, the FOMO is about sports, right? The important thing is they are actively exercising, that's actually cool," he said.

Bio One closed the interview session with a hope for the next generation to continue being active and exercise regularly.

"For the generation below me, it's okay to have FOMO, as long as you keep exercising, just follow the trends in sports. Negative FOMO is no longer trending now," he concluded.
