The arrest of actor Fachri Albar on Sunday (April 20, 2025) continues to unfold. After being secured at his home in the Lebak Bulus area of South Jakarta, the police immediately conducted a urine test on Fachri. The results showed that he tested positive for three types of illegal substances.
The West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi, stated that the urine test results for Fachri Albar showed a positive reaction to methamphetamine, amphetamine, and benzodiazepine.
"Regarding brother FA, a urine test has been conducted, which tested positive for methamphetamine, positive for amphetamine, and positive for benzodiazepine," said Kombes Pol Twedi at a press conference on Thursday (24/4/2025).
The evidence found at the location also supports the test results. Among them are two packages of meth, marijuana in the form of packages and rolls, a bottle containing cocaine, and 27 pills of alprazolam.
"Two plastic clip packages containing narcotics of the type meth with a gross weight of 0.65 grams. One plastic clip package containing narcotics of the type marijuana with a gross weight of 1.11 grams. Two rolls containing marijuana with a gross weight of 0.94 grams. One glass bottle containing narcotics of the type cocaine with a gross weight of 3.96 grams. 27 pills of alprazolam 1 milligram," he explained.
The police suspect that the items are remnants of use, considering that at the time of Fachri's arrest he was not consuming drugs, but resting at home.
"When the officers arrived at the location where the person was secured, he had indeed finished, he was already in a resting state," he said.
An examination of Fachri's mental health condition is also part of the handling procedure. The police ensure that psychological support will be provided to him.
"According to the procedures we follow, everyone who is indicated to be using narcotics and psychotropics will indeed receive assistance to check their health both physically and mentally," explained the Head of the Narcotics Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Vernal Armando Sambo.
Meanwhile, regarding the origin of the illicit goods, the police are still investigating. Fachri has not disclosed where he obtained the drugs.
"The suspect has not yet been willing to openly provide us with information," added Kompol Vernal. Fachri Albar is now in custody and will undergo legal proceedings in accordance with applicable regulations.
