Denny Sumargo secretly reported Farhat Abbas for alleged threats. Denny Sumargo, accompanied by his legal counsel, attended the call from the Metro Jaya Police to provide a statement regarding his report.
However, Farhat Abbas responded to the report casually. According to him, he has no objection to being reported by Denny and is ready to wait for a call from the police.
"It's fine if he feels that way. The important thing is that I have reported him, and just wait for the process. So let's just debate our arguments strongly, not just based on his interpretation," said Farhat Abbas when met at the Metro Jaya Police, Monday (18/11/2024).
Farhat even mentioned that Denny is still showing his arrogant attitude. "Indeed, his arrogant style is still there, there's no sign of humility. Just go ahead, feel free to report, we have no problem. Because this is cause and effect, right?" he said.
Farhat Abbas highlighted Denny's attitude, who is said to have come to his house and made statements that are considered to offend a certain ethnic group. He also questioned the arguments used by Denny to report him.
"A person who pretends to be brave comes to our house, asks to withdraw the sword, and talks about the Bugis Makassar ethnicity, that's him. I don't know what other knowledge he is using to fight us," said Farhat.
Farhat emphasized that he is not afraid of Denny's report. He denied the threat allegations and questioned the basis of the report.
"The phrase 'hajar', a threat? Go ahead. He himself said 'tae' when he came to our house. He said, 'you want to hit me' has been clarified and done. But outside of that, he challenged me to draw my sword. That's the only issue," said Farhat.
According to him, Denny Sumargo's actions of coming to his house and challenging him with certain words could actually be considered a threat.
"If he is called 't**', he would definitely threaten back, right? Meanwhile, he himself came and challenged, that is already a threat too. Don't let the thief shout thief," concluded Farhat Abbas.
