Becoming a convert this year, Ruben Onsu is ready to dive into the fifth pillar of Islam, which is the pilgrimage (Hajj). Without hesitation, the former husband of Sarwendah is set to depart for the Holy Land this year, or the 2025 hajj season.
To prepare for the pilgrimage, Ruben Onsu participated in a hajj training that included training or simulations of the hajj rituals before departing to the Holy Land. What do the photos look like?
Accompanied by an assistant, Ruben Onsu was seen watching the presenter discuss several matters related to the first hajj he will undertake.Â
Occasionally, Ruben records explanations from the speaker with his smartphone. Usually, the hajj training is conducted up to 6 meetings before departing for the Holy Land.Â
The speaker explained many things about the hajj pilgrimage. One of them is about how to wear the ihram clothing.Â
The speaker in the training also explained the procedures, regulations, recommended practices, prohibited actions, and several processes or rituals.Â
Health checks were also conducted for Ruben Onsu and prospective hajj or umrah pilgrims during the training. This aims to ensure that the body is in good condition before the physically demanding worship.Â
The certainty of Ruben Onsu going on pilgrimage this year was revealed by his friend, Ivan Gunawan. According to the designer, he and Ruben will depart but in different groups.
"God willing, Ruben wants to go on pilgrimage this year as well. Although we are both departing this year, he won't be with me. So we will go separately, maybe we'll meet there (the Holy Land)," Ivan explained as quoted from viva.co.id.
