Kapanlagi.com - Drummer Slank, Bimbim just celebrated his 58th birthday on Wednesday (25/12/2024). This event felt special not only as a personal moment for Bimbim but also because it coincided with the 41st birthday celebration of Slank.
The moment was celebrated in a unique and joyful way with family and other members of the Slank band.
"Yes, just yesterday we gathered with family, Slank," said Bimbim in Potlot, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/12/2024).

For the celebration, Bimbim added a different touch. Instead of surprising everyone, he opted for an interesting costume concept.Â
Guests in attendance are required to wear clothing in the distinctive style of Bimbim, making the party atmosphere feel more personal and festive. "No, those who come must wear Bimbim-style costumes," he said.
His birthday moment also brings its own memories for Bimbim's career journey with Slank. He clearly remembers that this band was formed exactly one day after his 17th birthday.
"Because I formed Slank at the age of 17. And that was one day after my 17th birthday," said Bimbim.
The continuity of the musical spirit for more than four decades is a testament to Bimbim's dedication to the world of music.Â
"So that's a moment that has always been happy until today. And I feel like today my spirit is still 17. And until today we always say we are not working but playing in a band, so it's always happy, 41 years from age 17 until today we keep playing. Luckily, we get awards for playing," said Bimbim.
In addition, he also expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support from Slank fans. For him, the prayers from many people are one of the best gifts he receives every year.
"Yes, every year many people pray for us, many people pray for us. So it's the power of prayer that keeps us long-lived and healthy," he concluded.
