8 Portraits of John Legend in 'An Evening With John Legend', Stunning Performance on the Piano - Shared Personal Stories

John Legend finally greeted his fans in Indonesia at the concert titled An Evening With John Legend, on Sunday (6/10) at Sentul International Circuit Center. In this concert, Yura Yunita and Siti Nurhaliza also performed as special guests.

Yura opened her performance with the song Tutur Batin and continued with several of her hit songs like Intuisi and Risalah Hati. She was followed by Siti Nurhaliza with songs such as Betapa Kucinta Padamu, Seindah Biasa, and Cindai.

"We are currently in Bogor. I really like Cilembu sweet potatoes, they are very sweet. And also, it brings nostalgia for me when I go to Bogor because it is close to Puncak. The music video for Betapa Kucinta Padamu was made in Puncak. The shooting was with Anjasmara," said Siti.

From the very beginning of his performance with the song Save Room, John Legend successfully made the audience shiver with his enchanting voice. He continued his performance with PDA (We Just Don't Care) and Greenlight in a melodious piano arrangement. Beautiful, sweet, and romantic. 

John Legend's performance this time feels very special because there are several differences from the usual setlist he brings. This is definitely a pleasant surprise for the audience. 

In this concert, John Legend is not just entertaining by singing. He also shares stories about his career and personal life through several narrative segments that make the audience feel close to him.

"When you hear me play the piano today, you hear the influence of my grandmother on my mother's side. I would go to her house every Sunday morning after church," said Chrissy Teigen's husband.

John Legend then continued his performance with songs like Like I'm Gonna Lose You, Ordinary People, and Wonder Woman. In the final round, John sang a song inspired by Christy Teigen, including All of Me.
