The body of comedian Nurul Qomar arrived at his final resting place, TPU Carang Pulang, Tangerang Regency after being prayed for at the mosque near the funeral home, in the Curug area of Tangerang. The drizzling rain did not deter the mourners who wanted to accompany the senior comedian to his final resting place.
The body was buried next to the graves of his father and mother. Fellow comedians of the deceased were seen, such as Eko Patrio, Kubil, and Eman 4 Sekawan.
When the body merged with the earth, Eman was seen holding back his sadness and was comforted by his friends. Prayers were uttered by the mourners present.
After the ustad read the talqin followed by the mourners, Eko Patrio represented the family to give a speech. While speaking, his eyes were glistening with tears.
"In the name of Mr. Haji Qomar, I testify that Mr. Haji is a good person, has many friends, many loved ones. We all consider Mr. Haji Qomar to be a teacher for us, a strong figure for all of us; the world of comedy has lost a solid figure and Mr. Haji's humble way of life," said Eko Patrio
"Many wish to be like Mr. Haji, therefore we, the extended family of Mr. Haji, ask for his sincerest forgiveness for any mistakes he may have made, and may his good deeds be accepted by Him," he concluded.
After that, the cries of the family and friends of the deceased broke out during the flower scattering moment. Siti Maryam, after kissing and placing a photo on the grave of the deceased, could not hold back her tears.

As reported, Qomar passed away on Wednesday (1/8/2025) afternoon at RSUD Tangerang, Banten after battling colon cancer that he had been suffering from since 2021. Although he was once declared cured, the colon cancer reappeared in his body at the end of 2023.
