8 Portraits of Shella Saukia Reveal Billions in Losses Due to Her Skincare Being Reviewed by Doktif, Questioning Standards and Expertise

Kapanlagi.com - Entrepreneur and Instagram celebrity Shella Saukia claims to have suffered significant losses due to the review conducted by Detective Doctor or Doktif on her skincare products.

Not only has she suffered material losses, but Shella also feels morally harmed. Therefore, she has decided to take this matter to the legal route by reporting Doktif to the police.

"The losses are very significant. Material and moral, very significant. Yes, just at the investigator's office," said Shella when met in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (22/1/2025).

When asked if the losses reached billions of rupiah, Shella did not deny it. "Yes, it could," said Shella briefly.

Shella's attorney, Elza Syarief, believes her client has experienced unfair treatment due to the review conducted by Doktif. According to her, this action has harmed Shella, both business-wise and personally.

"My client has been begging, looking for food only to be played with, insulted, and bullied. Even though the product is very good, it is BPOM certified and can be accounted for. When looking for food, please, this is very cruel," said Elza.

Furthermore, Elza emphasized that if there are allegations of violations regarding a product, it should be reported directly to the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM), rather than being turned into content that can harm others.

"If there are products that violate regulations, you can report them directly to BPOM. BPOM has special investigators who will process it criminally. So there’s no need to do reviews until it becomes a livelihood," he said.

Elza also questioned the capacity of Doktif in reviewing skincare products. She reminded that there are official procedures in product testing, which should be conducted by authorized parties.

"He reviews, even though there should be standards in place. What about the lab, what are the standards, what about the expertise? There are procedures for that from BPOM. That’s why the government appointed BPOM for matters related to drugs and skincare," she explained.
