Verrell also took the time to listen to the complaints of Indonesian citizens in Egypt regarding the basic education curriculum. This shows his concern for Indonesian citizens abroad.
Domestically, Verrell has visited 35 locations in various regions to gather community aspirations, particularly related to maternal and child health and youth participation in village development.
He is even active in voicing the needs of non-Olympic athletes in meetings with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and received an audience with kickboxing athlete Andi Jerni, who seeks equal treatment from the government.
Not only in the meeting room, Verrell is also active in social activities. He is involved in the development of early childhood education, the construction of bridges in his electoral area, and distributing sacrificial animals during Eid al-Adha.
