9 Sightings of Gaga Muhammad Attending Accident Case Trial, Revealing Facts of Both Being Drunk and Receiving 12 Billion Rupiah Lawsuit

Held virtually, the trial, which was scheduled to hear the testimony of witnesses, had to be postponed. 

Because the witness presented by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) did not attend the trial. After the trial, Gaga Muhammad's legal counsel, Fahmi Bachmid, explained that the trial was postponed at the request of the JPU because the witnesses presented could not attend the trial.

"If the trial is postponed, it is indeed the Prosecutor who requests the postponement. As the legal representative of the defendant from Gaung, I am only following this legal process. The result of yesterday's trial was actually extraordinary. First, it was revealed that after drinking alcoholic beverages," said Fahmi Bachmid at the East Jakarta District Court on Thursday (9/12/2021).

"Secondly, Gaung's parents were repeatedly summoned and had to pay more than 12 billion, and that has been conveyed. Three (summons) if I'm not mistaken, so his parents testified why this process has been ongoing,"

Gaga Muhammad and Laura Anna had an accident in 2019. As a result of the accident, their car was completely destroyed. Before the accident, Gaga and Laura Anna had been drinking. 

"So we can't see it from one side, so here both of them were drinking, that's admitted by both of them. One of them drank, then slept, and then there's a statement from one of them using a half seatbelt, we'll see it in the trial," said Fahmi.

"We can't state that there were two people in the same condition of being drunk. That's what I assess. So I can't blame and justify at the same time. Please let the legal process follow its course, we will prove that there's a 12 billion something summons," he added.

As a result of the accident, Laura Anna suffered severe injuries to the point of being unable to walk, or in other words, paralyzed. Actually, Gaga Muhammad helped take care of Laura Anna during her one-year treatment.

"Actually, it's not really heard, but I heard that she took care of it, for more than a year she took care of it, came to her house and so on. Even the family from her mother's side once discussed about getting married. But what happened was actually like this, the legal process might feel that there is no need to discuss it anymore in terms of family," said Fahmi.
