The divorce lawsuit filed by Lulu Tobing against Bani Maulana Mulia in the Central Jakarta Religious Court has been rejected by the panel of judges. The continuation of the divorce case was held online at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on Tuesday (14/9) without the presence of both parties, either Lulu Tobing or Bani Maulana Mulia.

It is known that Lulu Tobing and her husband have undergone 13 hearings related to this divorce. After being rejected, they still have the status of husband and wife. "The examination of Lulu Tobing and Bani's case is complete, the decision has been read, and the panel's conclusion has been rejected," said Jajat Sudrajat, the PA Jakarta Pusat spokesperson, when met at his office on Tuesday (14/9).

"The examination of the case of Lulu Tobing and Bani has been completed. It has taken 13 court hearings up to now. They are still considered husband and wife," he continued.

However, both Lulu Tobing and Bani Maulana can appeal against this decision. The appeal will be submitted after 14 days.

"It is up to both parties whether to accept the decision or not. If they do not accept, they can appeal to the High Court. That will be the consideration of the High Court. Both parties can file an appeal 14 days after today," he said.

It is known that Lulu Tobing and Bani Maulana got married on August 24, 2019. After almost two years together, Lulu decided to file for divorce on May 18, 2021.

Jajat Sudrajat, the Public Relations Officer of the Central Jakarta Religious Court, when met at his office, stated that Lulu Tobing and her husband's case had been rejected. They are no longer getting divorced.

"The decision and conclusion of the panel have been read, the case has been rejected. They will not be getting divorced," said Jajat Sudrajat.
