Indra's side also failed to present witnesses in the trial. This further strengthens the belief of Chikita Meidy's legal team that the counterclaim has no strong legal basis and is merely a delay tactic.

Chikita's attorney, Toris Sihotang, emphasized the inconsistency of the evidence presented. According to him, the evidence is completely unrelated to the claims they made in the counterclaim.

"The written evidence submitted has no correlation with the evidence of the claim in the counterclaim," said Toris Sihotang.

"In conclusion, after the judge requested evidence, the evidence has been provided which seems to be uncertain whether it can be used as a reference or not. In my opinion, it cannot be, and we all think it cannot because the evidence is just photos from the past and there are no witnesses to present," concluded Yassirni.

5. Not Providing Child Support

Chikita Meidy revealed that her husband has not provided support for their child entering the fourth month. This, according to her lawyer, can legally be considered a sign of divorce under religious law.

"It has already stopped. This is now entering the fourth month. For Jevier, he hasn't (given anything)," said Chikita Meidy.

6. Mortgage Arrears

This situation is exacerbated by mortgage arrears amounting to around 70 million rupiah. Chikita is worried that the house will be repossessed by the bank, even though she and her child still live there. She also expressed her readiness to take over the payments.
