Kapanlagi.com - Shocking news has once again emerged from the entertainment world in the country. A public figure with the initials FA, known as an actor and musician, was secured by the police in connection with a drug case.
The arrest was carried out by Unit 1 of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police on Sunday night, April 20, 2025. FA was secured at his residence located in the South Jakarta area around 8:00 PM WIB.
The Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Vernal Sambo, confirmed the arrest when contacted by the media at the West Jakarta Metro Police on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. When reached, the Head of the Public Relations Subdivision of PMJ AKBP Reonald Simanjuntak also confirmed that the actor and musician with the initials FA who was arrested is Fachri Albar.

"It is true that we secured a public figure with the initials FA on Sunday night," said Kompol Vernal Sambo.
The arrest was led directly by AKP Viko A Benaya, who heads Unit 1 of the Narcotics Investigation Unit. From the arrest, the police also secured several pieces of evidence that are now in the investigators' possession.
"The evidence has been secured and is currently still in the stage of further investigation," Vernal continued.

FA is widely known to the public thanks to his role in several popular soap operas and films. However, his name is now tarnished after being implicated in a drug abuse case.
Nevertheless, until now, the police have not provided detailed information regarding the type of drugs secured and the complete chronology of the arrest.
"FA was secured alone at his home," asserted Vernal Sambo.
The examination process of FA is still ongoing. The police have also requested the public and media crews to be patient while waiting for the results of this case's investigation.
