The Jakarta-born singer admitted that many things have happened in his life since he last held a major concert in 2015. These various experiences will later be expressed through a specially prepared performance concept.
The Retrospective Concert also marks Afgan's long journey in the music industry. Since his debut in 2008, he has released a number of hit songs and eight albums, making him one of the leading male solo singers in Indonesia.

According to Afgan, the choice of the name Retrospective is not without reason. The title is considered to best represent the performance concept that focuses on life journeys, achievements, and various challenges he has faced.
"Retrospective means looking back at the journey that has been passed and embracing all that is positive and negative. Because all of that teaches us to become the human we are today," said Afgan.
The concert will also feature a number of special collaborations. Afgan teams up with several renowned musicians from the homeland, including Mahalini, Kris Dayanti, and Petra Sihombing. The presence of these musicians is sure to add color to the performance, which lasts about 2.5 hours.
