Tio Pakusadewo's Condition is Improving, Dewi Perssik Hopes to Star in a Film Together

Dangdut singer Dewi Perssik revealed the current condition of senior actor Tio Pakusadewo who has just returned from the hospital. The two were recently reunited on the television program Pagi-Pagi Ambyar, which was a rare moment after a long time apart.

According to Dewi, Tio's health condition is now showing positive developments even though the actor still needs to limit his physical activities. "Uncle Tio's condition was on Pagi-Pagi Ambyar earlier. We saw his condition ourselves, he was sick... what was the name again?," Dewi Perssik said when met at the Trans TV Studio, South Jakarta, Friday (19/6/2026).

Dewi then confirmed that Tio Pakusadewo is experiencing complications. Nevertheless, she is grateful because the actor's condition is slowly improving and it is hoped that he can return to his usual activities.

"Yes, complications. And now he has started to improve. Insya Allah he will be able to return to activities," she stated.

Although his health development is quite encouraging, Dewi revealed that Tio is still facing several physical challenges. One of them is difficulty standing for a long time without assistance.

Their meeting at the shooting location was brief. Dewi admitted that she didn't have time to chat long with the Citra Award-winning actor due to their respective busyness.

As a fellow artist, Dewi admitted that she greatly admires Tio Pakusadewo. She even hopes to act alongside her idol in a film project in the future.

"I pray that Uncle Tio is granted health by God and can star in a movie with me. Because I am really a huge fan of him, from his acting, to his very strong and irreplaceable character. That's my dream," concluded Dewi.
