Former Housekeeper Erin Wartia Allegedly Exploited Home Content for 'FB Pro'

Erin's side suspects that the former housekeeper deliberately exploited content in the client's home area without permission for personal gain on social media.

The dispute over the cellphone that was reported to have been seized by Erin apparently has a reason of privacy protection. Erin is reported to have only wanted to stop her former housekeeper from secretly recording the condition of the house.

"Regarding the cell phone, for it to be seized and other matters, our client never seized his phone. But the situation there at that time in the evening was that he left the house, so he didn’t have the chance to take his belongings," said Erin's attorney, Adlina Amalia, when met at the South Jakarta Police Station on Friday (22/5/2026).

"Our client only addressed the issue politely to protect his privacy because he doesn’t want his house to be exploited," he added.

The Erin Wartia side found that the private home contents were uploaded to a feature called 'FB Pro'. They suspect there is an economic motive behind the actions of the former housekeeper that led to the police report.

"It turns out she uploaded (private home content) on 'FB Pro'. We just found out about it. Every time we upload anything, there must be some benefit, right? Maybe there's money in that profit from each photo or video that has been uploaded, especially since this content is about the privacy of Mrs. Erin's home," she said.

5. Erin Tired After Interrogation

Erin appeared tired after 22 questions from the investigators, making her unable to speak much about the details of the violation. She fully entrusted this case to the legal team she appointed.

"Just ask my lawyer, okay," Erin insisted.

6. Erin Rejects Building a Hollow Narrative

Currently, Erin's team is studying further the chronology from the time the former household staff started working until they eventually left the house. They refuse to build a hollow narrative and only adhere to the existing facts.
