Reza Gladys Will Sue Nikita Mirzani Back for Rp4 Billion

The ongoing court session of the legal case involving Reza Gladys and Nikita Mirzani at the South Jakarta District Court has now entered a new chapter. Reza Gladys's legal team expressed their relief as the series of evidence and witness examinations have concluded.

Interestingly, Reza Gladys's lawyer, Robert Par Uhum, believes that the lawsuit filed by Nikita Mirzani against their client has no strong legal basis and tends to be illogical.

1. The Plaintiff's Arguments Are Considered Not to Touch the Substance

The lawyers stated that this trial feels different from the legal cases they usually handle. They feel that the arguments presented by the plaintiff do not address the substance of the alleged Tort (PMH) from the beginning.

"Today we are actually grateful. We are joyful today because this trial is over. Only the conclusion remains. We, as advocates, usually handle legal cases. But for us, handling comedy is very difficult. Because we are not comedians," said Robert Par Uhum when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (28/04/2026).

3. Difficult to Accept Logically

Robert added that the plaintiff should be able to prove what actions were violated by his client and the legal basis underlying it. He likened the lawsuit to a story where the title and content are not related, making it difficult to be accepted logically in law.

"It's like a movie titled going to school by public transport, right? The title of the movie is going to school by public transport. Well, what's discussed is not the process of taking public transport. What’s discussed is at the school, the teachers are good-looking, the principal, oh the head of the school drives this car to school. That’s what’s discussed," explained Robert.

5. Reza Files a Counterclaim

Not staying silent, Reza Gladys's side has filed a counterclaim or a lawsuit against Nikita Mirzani. They are demanding compensation for the material losses suffered by their client. The basis for this counterclaim is the alleged criminal act that has previously been decided by the authorities.

"Our counterclaim is also the same, an unlawful act. We can prove it, here are Nikita's actions. Asking for 4 billion. Yes. This is the act. We inform you of the law, article this, article that, article this regarding criminal law," explained Robert.

The confidence of Reza Gladys's legal team is bolstered by the evidence of the Supreme Court's decision that has permanent legal force or is final. They emphasize that all actions taken by their client are a form of legitimate exercise of citizenship rights in the eyes of the law.

"We can prove with the criminal decision that has permanent legal force, that Nikita is proven guilty. Committing extortion," concluded Surya Batubara, who is also Reza Gladys's legal counsel.
