Paula Verhoeven Emphasizes No Direct Connection with Hanania Group, Here Are the Facts!

The questioning of Paula Verhoeven at the Metro Jaya Police revealed new facts regarding her involvement with the Hanania Group. Paula provided clarification regarding her position entangled in the alleged umrah fraud case.

Paula emphasized that her status in this examination is as a witness. She began her questioning by the Ditreskrimum investigative team at 10:00 AM WIB.

"I came at the request of the police. As a law-abiding citizen, I came here," said Paula Verhoeven when met at the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Thursday (11/6/2026).

In her statement, Paula denied having a direct working relationship with Hanania Group. She explained that her departure to the holy land in 2024 was through a third party.

"Actually, I personally have no direct connection with Hanania. So my departure for Umrah back in September 2024 was because I was invited by the Rumpi program," she said.

"So as a resource person, as a talent there, and it turns out that the Rumpi program happened to collaborate with Hanania, like that. So I do not have a direct connection with Hanania," she added.

Paula added that all administrative matters and coordination are handled through the television production team, not directly with the travel agency that is currently having issues. She even admitted that she does not know anyone from Hanania Group personally.

"Yes. So all my collaborations go directly to Rumpi," said the mother of two.

Regarding allegations of money flow or barter collaborations, Paula stands by her statement that all forms of agreements are only made with the television program. She is merely fulfilling her role as a guest star.

"I'm dealing with Rumpi. So all collaborations are with Rumpi, and coincidentally Rumpi collaborates with Hanania, that's Rumpi's business with Hanania. We are just asked to be talents and also sources at Rumpi, that's it," she explained.

In closing her statement, Paula stated that during her collaboration in the program, she did not feel any awkwardness. She hopes her statement can help the police resolve this case fairly.

"There's nothing, thank God there's nothing. Yes. Just collaborating well, because they definitely need more information," she concluded.
