Senior musician Ahmad Dhani is preparing to welcome the arrival of his first grandchild soon. His eldest son's wife, Alyssa Daguise, is reported to be about to give birth.
Dhani provided a hint about his daughter-in-law's current condition, which has shown signs of impending labor. The frontman of the band Dewa 19 explained that Alyssa's delivery is expected to happen in just a few days.
"(The birth) of Alyssa is close. In Javanese, it's already 'untup-untup', so it will be just one or two days from now," said Ahmad Dhani when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (05/05/2026).
Regarding the medical process that will be undertaken, Ahmad Dhani revealed that Alyssa Daguise has a strong desire to give birth to their first child naturally.
Alyssa is said to have prepared her physical and mental state to go through a normal delivery without surgery if possible.
"Normal. Alyssa wants a normal delivery," said Ahmad Dhani.
Although he has provided information regarding the timing and method of delivery, this husband of Mulan Jameela still chooses to keep other technical details confidential.
Dhani refused to disclose which hospital Alyssa will be treated at or what special preparations have been made by the Ghazali family. "That's enough," said Dhani.
