The family of musician Ahmad Dhani held a water blessing & prayer ceremony ahead of the marriage of El Rumi and Syifa Hadju, on Friday (24/4/2026). The event was held privately at a location in the Dharmawangsa area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
"Alhamdulillah it went well," said Al Ghazali when met in the Dharmawangsa area, South Jakarta, on Friday (24/4/2026).
Regarding the concept of the event that his younger brother underwent, Al explained that the extended family used Javanese traditions. "Javanese water blessing," he said briefly.
The ceremony became a moment for the extended family to gather in a very lively yet private atmosphere.
"The concept is a Javanese traditional water blessing, also gathering the family, very lively and thank God everything went smoothly," he said.
"Because at home there used to be Al, El, Dul, but now El is starting to want to start a family, wanting to leave the house," Al continued.
Seeing El Rumi who will soon step into marriage, Al Ghazali admitted to being happy. He reminisced about their growing up together when they still lived at home. "Yes, I'm happy too, mixed with emotion," said Al Ghazali.
During the event, Al mentioned that the family atmosphere was very strong. El Rumi spent some time communicating with his father and mother.
"Just chatting with Dad and Mom earlier," concluded Al Ghazali.
It is known that El and Syifa Hadju will hold their wedding on Sunday, April 26, 2025.
