Aldi Taher Confused as 'Why Mister Messi Why' Song Uploaded on FIFA World Cup Official Instagram

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Aldi Taher admitted to being confused as to why his song titled 'Why Mister Messi Why' was used as the background music for a video showcasing Lionel Messi's actions on the field by the FIFA World Cup account on their Instagram.

Aldi created the song after learning that Lionel Messi was rumored to not be coming to Indonesia with the Argentine national team for a friendly match with the Indonesian National Team.

"So, I can only say alhamdulillah. I didn't expect it, and I'm also confused as to why it was posted," said Aldi Taher when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Thursday (15/6/2023).

"I made this song because at first I got information that he wasn't coming and I was sad. Finally, I spontaneously made a song, then I uploaded it to TikTok and Instagram," Aldi Taher added.

1. Just Found Out From My Youngest Brother

Aldi himself admitted to only finding out that his song was used as a background by the FIFA World Cup account from his youngest brother. In fact, it was only 30 minutes after he uploaded it to his social media account.

"This was from my little brother. He showed it to me, 'Bro, this is probably your song.' When I heard it, I was like, yeah, that's right. I just uploaded it half an hour ago," he said.

2. Didn't Expect It

After learning about it, Aldi Taher was touched and didn't expect it. Of course, with this song, he can lift the heart of his idol football player to come to Indonesia.

"I'm touched. What's clear is that this is a prayer so that God willing, Messi will still come to Indonesia. Indonesia is beautiful, a friendly country, and the food is delicious," he concluded.
