Although Successfully Defeating Nagita Slavina and Jeje Govinda, Ibnu Jamil Admits Feeling Nervous and Anxious Because of This

Kapanlagi.com - Presenter Ibnu Jamil and Gege Elisa successfully defeated Nagita Slavina and Jeje Govinda in a mixed doubles tennis match at the Indonesian Celebrity Sports Tournament, on Saturday (15/7) afternoon. The match was held at GOR Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Rawamangun, East Jakarta.

Of course, Ibnu Jamil felt happy for defeating Nagita Slavina and Jeje Govinda. However, he admitted that he felt nervous during the match.

"I'm happy because my wife, children, and family watched the match. I felt nervous and anxious on the court," said Ibnu Jamil after the match.

1. First Time Trying Sports

When asked further, Ibnu Jamil, who is relatively new to trying this sport, admitted that he had only practiced five times before competing against Raffi Ahmad's wife and sister-in-law. Therefore, he feels very lucky because Gege, his teammate, is very helpful with his skills.

"Gege is a partner on the field who can help me," he said.

"I just believe in myself and trust in teamwork," he added.

2. Not Bothered

Although initially nervous, Ibnu Jamil didn't bother thinking about who his opponent would be. He had to be confident considering that this match was broadcasted live on television.

"I don't think about who the opponent is, I just focus on myself, especially when playing tennis, which is broadcasted live on television, it feels like pressure," he said.
