Actor Ammar Zoni finally appeared in person at the Central Jakarta District Court. He attended to participate in the first hearing of the drug trafficking case against him, Thursday (18/12/2025).
Ammar's presence in the courtroom this time drew significant attention, especially because this was the first time he faced a hearing in person. Previously, the brother of Aditya Zoni always attended virtually via video link from Nusa Kambangan.

Monitoring at the location, Ammar Zoni arrived at the Central Jakarta District Court around 09:26 WIB. The former husband of Irish Bella came with five other defendants under tight security from the officers.Â
As soon as he got out of the prison vehicle, Ammar Zoni was immediately greeted by a crowd of media personnel who had been waiting since the morning. Despite being in a serious legal situation, Ammar tried to remain calm. He even managed to throw a brief smile towards the journalists who bombarded him with various questions about his current condition.
Unfortunately, Ammar Zoni chose to be tight-lipped regarding the legal process he is facing. When asked about his mental preparedness and physical health, he did not provide a lengthy explanation. "Just pray for me," said Ammar Zoni when met at the Central Jakarta District Court, Thursday (18/12/2025).
This trial feels very special for Ammar because previously he was classified as a high-risk prisoner held at Nusakambangan Prison. During his time there, he had limited access to meet with family members.Â
The moment of his transfer to Salemba Detention Center for the trial finally opened the way for Ammar to reunite with his loved ones. Until now, Ammar found it difficult to meet his family because he was detained at Nusakambangan Prison.
The atmosphere turned emotional in the courtroom as Ammar Zoni met with his two younger brothers, Aditya Zoni and Panji Zoni. Ammar was seen immediately hugging his brothers tightly as if expressing his longing after such a long time without seeing each other physically.Â
Not only family, his girlfriend named Kamelia also appeared to provide moral support in the visitors' seats. The agenda for today's trial focuses on examining the testimonies of witnesses presented by the Public Prosecutor (JPU). Ammar appeared to follow the legal proceedings closely alongside his legal team.
