Andre Taulany's Lawyer Confident There Will Be No Appeal, Separation Decision is Finalized

The divorce between Andre Taulany and Erin Wartia is confirmed to proceed amicably and based on mutual agreement. This was revealed by Andre's legal counsel, Fahmi Bachmid, who believes that there will be no further legal action from either party.

Although legally, both the petitioner and the respondent have the right to appeal after the decision is rendered, Fahmi is optimistic that this right will not be exercised. According to him, the decision to separate has already become a well-considered mutual decision between Andre and Erin.

"If that is the law. The law is indeed like that. The law is a legal right granted to the parties. Now this right whether to be used or not because they have agreed, I am sure it will not be used," explained Fahmi Bachmid when met in South Jakarta, Tuesday (11/11/2025).

This belief is based on the ongoing process, where the divorce application submitted only focuses on separation without any other claims.

"I am sure there will be no legal efforts because they have agreed to end their marriage, it just remains a matter of time for this legal effort, and once it is over, the decision will have permanent legal force," he said.

This peaceful divorce is also reflected in the decision of the South Jakarta Religious Court, which only granted the request for permission to declare talak.

"The decision adjudicates to grant permission to the petitioner to pronounce the divorce pledge. So I am speaking legally, that is the law. I have read it out, adjudicated, like that," said Fahmi.

With this agreement, the divorce process of Andre Taulany and Erin Wartia only needs to wait for the inkrah period to be completed before proceeding to the stage of pronouncing the divorce pledge.

"This is a household issue that must be resolved through legal processes and that is what must be carried out because without a legal process, I am sure it would not be possible to have the pronouncement of the divorce pledge," he concluded.
