Angga Yunanda, who plays Boy in the 2023 version of the movie CATATAN SI BOY directed by Hanung Bramantyo, has his own perspective on wealth. According to him, there are true wealthy people, known as old money, and fake wealthy people who usually enjoy flaunting their wealth.
Angga hopes to become a true wealthy person in five years. He cites MD Pictures producer Manoj Punjabi as an example of old money. Angga Yunanda is optimistic that he can become old money through hard work and prayers.
"There are many differences after shooting the movie Catatan Si Boy, especially experiencing the life of super wealthy people, which is definitely different from being just rich. Being able to ride a private jet every day, vacation on a Private Island, and experience the life of Mr. Manoj in the movie," said the 23-year-old actor to Showbiz Liputan6.com in Jakarta, recently.
Angga doesn't deny that his life is already more than enough. However, he still hopes that someday he can share in the blessings like Boy's character in his movie.
"I am grateful that at least once in my lifetime I have experienced it and hopefully I can share in his blessings like Boy. InshaAllah, in five years," added the handsome actor.

Meanwhile, there are two stars from the classic version of Catatan Si Boy who are making a comeback, namely Dede Yusuf and Meriam Bellina. Now, Dede Yusuf plays Boy's father. Meriam Bellina, who used to play Vera, now portrays Vera's mother who speaks a mix of Sundanese and English.
"I am happy to play Vera's mother here, but I still bring my own Meriam Bellina style. So, I don't follow the version of (the late) Ida Kusumah too much. I create my own version of Vera's mother," added Meriam Bellina.
Catatan Si Boy 2023 is a collaboration between MD Pictures, MVP Pictures, and Dapur Film. The script is handled by Upi, while the director is Hanung Bramantyo. Catatan Si Boy will be released in theaters starting from August 17, 2023.
