Anji Manji Reveals Reason for Not Appearing Sad When His Mother Died

Anji Manji finally speaks out about why he did not appear sad when his mother passed away. Through a post he shared, Anji actually showed a different side of the grieving process, which is calmer and full of acceptance.

"Why do I not look sad? This is the first reason," Anji explained in the caption accompanying a video of him with his mother. Not without feeling, the singer of 'Dia' explained that what he displayed was a form of sincerity, not indifference. Here is his answer.

Passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, Anji Manji feels a great loss for his beloved mother. However, there is a reason why he does not want to give too much space to deep sadness.

In the farewell video with his mother, the singer of 'Dia' explains that what he shows is a form of sincerity, not indifference.

In the video he shared, there are simple yet warm moments between Anji and his mother when she was still fresh and undergoing treatment.

The expression of the mother is the main reason for Anji. He feels there is no need to be engulfed in sadness because he witnessed how his mother spent her last days filled with happiness.

That smile seems to be the answer to all questions. Anji also remembers his mother's words when she invited her to move so that her care would be easier during her illness.
