Arresting Roy Kiyoshi, Police Secure 21 Psychotropic Pills as Evidence

Kapanlagi.com - Although it has just recently been revealed that Roy Kiyoshi was arrested by the police on Thursday, (7/5), the South Jakarta Police had actually secured the man named Roy Kurniawan since Wednesday, (6/5). Roy was arrested at his home in Cengkareng, West Jakarta.

This was revealed by Kompol Vivick Tjangkung, the Narcotics Unit Chief of the South Jakarta Police, in a statement to the media today, Friday, (8/5). Vivick revealed that the case is still under further investigation.

"Indeed, yesterday around Wednesday at 5 p.m., we had secured a man named Roy Kurniawan alias Roy Kiyoshi, and during the search at his residence in the Cengkareng Indah area, West Jakarta, psychotropic drugs were found. And currently, we are conducting a deeper investigation into the case, and we will inform the progress for now," said Vivick.

After being arrested, the police conducted a urine test on Roy. The result was that the presenter who claimed to be an indigo was declared positive for using psychotropic drugs.

"When we did the urine test, he tested positive for benzo," said Vivick.

Currently, Roy's condition is said to be very good and in good health. His parents have visited this morning and brought food for Roy.

Meanwhile, during the investigation period, Roy is being held at the South Jakarta Police Station. The police are still investigating this case to obtain clear information.

The evidence for Roy Kiyoshi's detention is not only the urine test. Along with the presenter's arrest, the police also confiscated evidence in the form of illegal drugs.

Roy had dozens of psychotropic pills, and now they are all secured by the police. "There are approximately 21 psychotropic pills," said Vivick.
