Ashanty Admits She Has Never Been Envious of Other People's Achievements: I Live Without Forcing Myself

After experiencing various achievements in her career, business, and family, the wife of Anang Hermansyah feels there is nothing more she needs to chase in terms of material wealth. For her, true happiness is not about popularity or riches.

"I have experienced everything. I mean, like you said earlier, yes, I already have children, grandchildren, a husband, what else is there to look for, right?" she said when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, Thursday (31/7/2025).

1. Ashanty's Life Principles

Her life principle is simple: always be grateful and look down. This is what makes her never feel envious of others' success or possessions, because she realizes there are many who are not as fortunate as she is.

"Alhamdulillah, me too, I am the type of person who never feels envious of others wanting more, because I always see that there are many below me as well," said Ashanty.

2. Flexible Lifestyle

Her lifestyle is also very flexible and not pretentious, adjusting to the existing financial conditions. She admits she is not ashamed to tighten her belt when financial conditions are difficult.

"I don’t have money right now, I tighten my belt. When I have money, I will indulge in my hobby of traveling, I can do anything. So, I am the type of person who doesn’t have to look a certain way, yes, I am like this or I am like that," she explained.

3. A More Peaceful Life

With this way of life, Ashanty feels more at peace and is not easily tired by social demands. She doesn’t need to pretend to be someone else just to gain recognition.

"So my life isn’t tiring, like that," she added briefly.

4. Life Goals Shift

Now, her life goals have shifted. At her increasingly mature age, she only wants to dedicate the rest of her life to be able to benefit others.

"But what is my purpose? I want to, at my age, I’m almost 42 years old, I want to be able to be beneficial to others. As for myself, insyaallah I’m already enough," she concluded with a sense of gratitude.
