Asila Maisa cannot hide her pride in her father’s achievement, Ramzi, who has now officially been inaugurated as the Deputy Regent of Cianjur. Asila revealed that this is also one of her father's dreams.
"I'm very happy, because it's one of Abi's dreams too, wanting to enter politics," said Asila when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Friday (21/2/2025).
Ramzi has indeed long wanted to make a mark in the political world. Asila explained that her father received many offers since 2014. However, Ramzi chose to prepare himself thoroughly before finally deciding to run in the 2025 period.
"Abi has actually been offered many times since the 2014 period, but Abi felt he wanted to mature all his abilities in politics first. Then he finally really dove into this 2025 period," she said.
Ramzi's inauguration was lively, with full support from his extended family. Asila and her mother even traveled to Cianjur to witness this historic moment.
"My family and I also accompanied him. My mother and I even went to Cianjur. We just got back earlier, at midnight. Abi is still there, in a meeting," said Asila.
Although it is a happy moment, the process leading to the inauguration is also accompanied by nervousness. However, Asila revealed that her father looked very excited the day before the inauguration.
"There is, for a few days I felt a bit anxious. But the night before the inauguration, Abi was very happy. I was also surprised, I thought I would feel closer, more anxious, but the night before, Abi was very cheerful," she said.
As the Vice Regent, Ramzi now has to spend more time in Cianjur. Nevertheless, Asila admitted that she has been used to her father's busyness since she was little.
"I miss him, but this is not an ordinary thing. This is not the first time I have been apart from Abi. Because I also have activities, since I was little, Abi has been filming every day," said Asila.
Asila hopes her father can carry out his duties well during his term as Vice Regent of Cianjur. She is optimistic that Ramzi can bring positive changes to the district.
"Hope for Abi to serve as the deputy regent next year in Cianjur Regency, may he continue to provide the best, be trustworthy, and manage energy well," concluded Asila.
