Aska Ongi Worries Her Child Will Be Exploited by Aliff Alli to Obtain Residency in Indonesia

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Aliff Alli has once again filed for an isbat marriage and divorce talak in the Central Jakarta Religious Court. Aliff hopes that his marriage and divorce with Aska Ongi will be registered in the civil registry.

Unlike Aliff, Aska Ongi does not want her failed marriage in November 2019 to have a marriage and divorce certificate.

She also hopes that Aliff Alli's isbat marriage application, which is currently in the mediation agenda, will not be granted by the judge.

"If possible, there should be no official marriage. So there will be no divorce. I don't want any kind of relationship (with Aliff)," said Aska Ongi when met at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (17/3/2021).

1. Afraid of Children Being Exploited

Aska is worried that if the marriage is confirmed, the child from her marriage with Aliff will be used by Aliff as a guarantee to stay in Indonesia.

"Because he is raising his child as a foreign citizen. So when his stay in Indonesia expires, it's as if the child is the reason. Aska doesn't want that," said Aska's lawyer, Feriyawansyah.

"I have been continuously exploited, and I don't want to be exploited again for my child. Because he never contributed to taking care of the child," Aska added.

2. Aliff Alli's Denial

Meanwhile, Aliff firmly denies the accusation of submitting a request for an isbat marriage for personal interests.

"There is absolutely none. What can I benefit from? I am the biological father. In fact, my child is entitled to benefit from me in the future or even now," he said.

Aska Ongi and Aliff Alli secretly married in 2018 and divorced in November 2019. They were blessed with one child from the marriage.
