Asmara Abigail Shares the Latest Conditions in Italy: Like Being in World War

This means that Italian citizens are advised to stay at their respective homes unless there is an urgent matter outside.

As we know, the beautiful model and actress, Asmara Abigail is currently trapped in Italy. Most likely she has to stay in the pizza country until around April. When contacted by the media, Asmara then shared the current conditions in Italy.

"So now, the entertainment for the Italian people is that every evening we sing together on the balcony, so it's reported what we sing today, what's the exciting song, it's like encouraging fellow Italians," said Asmara when contacted via Whatsapp Call recently.

Recently, there has been a viral video of Italian citizens singing together from their respective homes. Upon investigation, it turns out they are trying to support each other so as not to lose hope in facing this tragedy.

"Because we consider this as a modern war, we see it as a world war, but modern, fighting against the virus. So, if I look at it, the impact might be bad, but with this virus, we learn that the citizens of the world must unite to fight against this virus. Because if one country doesn't want to cooperate, this virus will continue to spread. For example, if one country doesn't want to cooperate and its citizens travel to another country, they will spread it again," said the film star of PEREMPUAN TANAH JAHANAM.

2. Assistance from China

As it is known, the coronavirus initially originated from Wuhan, China. Now, the situation in China itself is reported to have greatly improved. In fact, experienced doctors from China are now being sent to Italy to help treat patients infected with the coronavirus.

"So, we really realize as humans that we must cooperate and forget our differences, even consider those differences as a wealth. I am very happy that China can send medical teams and donate so many medical supplies to Italy. This is truly a beautiful sign of friendship between countries," she concluded.

3. Reasons Why Asmara Abigail is Stuck in Italy

Previously, it was known that Asmara was in Italy to attend Milan Fashion Week. She also had other work schedules to attend film screenings in Amsterdam. However, due to the tragedy of the coronavirus, all her activities had to be canceled for safety reasons.

Asmara mentioned that the lockdown in Italy will last until April 4th, which is also her 28th birthday. Hopefully, the situation in Italy will improve soon and Asmara can return to her homeland in good health.
