Asri Welas' Husband Tells the Chronology of Their Son's Hospitalization in ICU

Kapanlagi.com - Asri Welas and her husband, Galiech Ridha Rahardja, recounted the chronology of their son, Rayyan Gibran Ridha Rahardja's hospitalization in the ICU at Melia Cibubur Hospital, East Jakarta. Galiech said their son was unconscious for a while.

"The incident was very surprising. It happened during Maghrib, I had just finished work. Usually, at that time, my son had already taken a shower, put on clothes, and washed them," said Galieh Ridha Rahardja in a press conference at Melia Cibubur Hospital, East Jakarta, on Friday (16/6/2023).

"Then someone at home told me, 'sir, come here, your brother seems unconscious.' When I saw him, he did seem unconscious. When I tried to wake him up, he didn't respond," he added.

Upon receiving the news, Galiech was shocked and panicked. Moreover, he had never seen his son in that condition before. From there, Galiech decided to immediately take his son to the hospital. Galiech was grateful that the medical team promptly provided assistance to his son.

"At that time, I was very panicked. I tried to wake him up, but he didn't respond. Then I started to stimulate his eyes, but he still didn't respond. I became even more panicked," he said.

"Finally, I took him to my car and brought him to the nearest hospital, where the emergency medical team immediately took care of him. Alhamdulillah, he received first aid while unconscious," he added.

2. Arriving in Seizure Condition

Meanwhile, Dr. Yuni Kurnia explained that Asri Welas' son arrived at the hospital in a seizure condition. Therefore, the medical team decided to take him to the ICU for intensive care.

"If left untreated, it can worsen. Alhamdulillah, the seizure has stopped. After that, the condition improved, breathing has recovered, and the child has started to be active," concluded Dr. Yuni.
