Asri Welas Presents Assistant and Driver as Witnesses in Divorce Hearing with Galiech Rahardja

Kapanlagi.com - The continuation of the divorce case between actress and presenter Asri Welas and her husband, Galiech Rahardja, was held again at the Depok Religious Court, West Java, on Tuesday (31/12/2024).

This session scheduled the examination of evidence and witnesses from Asri as the plaintiff. During the process, two witnesses were presented to testify regarding the couple's household life.

"Today's agenda is the examination of evidence and witnesses or the evidentiary agenda. Evidence and 2 witnesses from relatives of both parties have been submitted," said Sifra Pangabean at the Depok Religious Court, Wednesday (31/12/2024).

1. Assistant and Driver Become Witnesses

In her statement, Sifra Pangabean revealed that the two witnesses presented are close relatives and Asri's personal driver. Both provided testimony regarding the condition of her marriage to Galiech. One important point conveyed was the fact that the couple has been living apart for the last two years.

"The first witness is a relative, an assistant, and the second is Asri's driver," said Sifra.

2. Not Living Together Since August Two Years Ago

According to Sifra, the witnesses were also asked to provide information about Asri and Galiech's daily lives, including Galiech's interactions with their children after they separated.

Based on the testimonies provided, the panel of judges delved into the reasons for this separation. The witnesses revealed that the couple had not been living together since August two years ago.

"They only provided information that they have been separated for 2 years, since August. The panel also asked if Mas Galiech often visits the children's house? The answer was yes, he still often goes to the house. That's about it to verify the contents of the lawsuit that they have indeed been living apart and there have been disputes," Sifra stated.

3. The Hearing Was Only Attended by Legal Counsel

This hearing was only attended by Asri's legal counsel. According to Sifra, Asri's absence from the trial was due to work commitments that required her to be abroad.

"Yes, she has work so she can't attend. Last I heard she was still in New York, still has work," said Sifra.

4. Asri Welas Has Submitted Documents

Although not present in person, Asri Welas is said to have submitted all the necessary documents to support her divorce claim. The divorce process between Asri Welas and Galiech

Rahardja is expected to take some time. The next hearing will schedule an examination related to the division of jointly owned property that is part of this divorce claim.

"Because there is a division of jointly owned property, the panel of judges will conduct a site visit, examining the location of the house, to see if it matches the certificate; from there, the panel of judges will prepare the conclusion of this case in the decision," said Sifra.
