Kapanlagi.com - Tessa Mariska is once again the target of netizens due to her behavior on social media. It is known that Tessa was criticized by netizens for allegedly playing with the death of Dali Wassink through a TikTok video trend 'reverse wir'.
In relation to this, when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, (25/7) Thursday afternoon, Tessa Mariska finally provided an explanation. She admitted that she was actually expressing her condolences.
Regarding the video that has been questioned by netizens, she admitted that she only wanted to inform netizens that 'Mundur Wir' is a characteristic jargon of her group, The Netizen. She also stated that Mundur Wir for the late Dali is not a video of dancing with loud music.
"We express our condolences, we were surprised by Papa Dali's passing, that's why we made a vt, we want to inform netizens, because it shows our characteristic, it's our group jargon," said Tessa Mariska.
"The mindset of Mundur Wir with laughing and music is not here," she added.
Tessa Mariska also admitted to being sad about the netizens' response to the video she posted. Especially since she claimed there was no intention to mock the sad news of Dali Wassink.
"I am actually sad, we think it's strange to be called this (mocking), but if we are criticized, we can handle it. It's not something new for us, we are used to it," she said.
"Look, we have no intention at all, we are actually offering prayers, we are not mocking. There is no intention whatsoever," she continued.
Tessa Mariska reiterated that there is no intent or opportunism in using the moment of Dali Wassink's death to gain fame alone.
"There’s no benefit for us to dance on someone’s sadness because everyone will inevitably experience death," she remarked.
