Audrey Davis Meets the Defendant in Court, Says There Was No Apology

Kapanlagi.com - Audrey Davis, the daughter of musician David Bayu, attended the trial of the pornographic video case involving her at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (7/1/2025). In the closed trial, Audrey met directly with the defendants, including AP, her ex-boyfriend who is suspected to be the main perpetrator.

However, Audrey revealed that there was no conversation between her and the defendants during the trial. In fact, AP did not express any apology for his actions.

"There was none (apology)," Audrey said briefly after leaving the courtroom.

Audrey explained that in the trial, she only provided information related to the case against her. In addition, she answered various questions posed by the judge and the public prosecutor.

"Just providing information," Audrey said briefly.

1. Audrey Testifies Without Accompaniment

In the trial, Audrey was accompanied by her lawyer, Sandy Arifin, and her father, David Bayu. Nevertheless, Sandy emphasized that Audrey provided testimony without accompaniment in the courtroom, in accordance with the closed trial procedure.

"Audrey provided information about the origins and chronology of the case. After leaving, everything was explained well," said Sandy Arifin.

The police had previously arrested two individuals suspected of spreading the pornographic video that implicated Audrey. The arrests were made on July 30 against MRS (22), a resident of Pasuruan, East Java, and JE (35), a resident of Padang, West Sumatra.

Both suspects were apprehended based on digital tracking conducted by the Cyber Investigation team of the Metro Jaya Police. After being interrogated intensively, both were officially designated as suspects and are now in custody.

2. Breaking the Law

The actions of the two suspects are stated to violate Article 27 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 45 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law and Article 4 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 29 of the Pornography Law. Heavy penalties await them for their actions.

In addition to MRS and JE, AP, Audrey's ex-boyfriend, has also been designated as the main suspect in this case. AP is suspected of not only being involved in the distribution of the pornographic video but also of being an actor in it.

According to the police, AP's motive for spreading the video was heartbreak after his relationship with Audrey ended. This case serves as a reminder of the importance of education and digital protection in an increasingly online-connected society.
